Assalamualikum W.R.W.B Brothers and Sisters

There has been a strong need in this community to have a weekly activity for Muslim youth. It is our responsibility to provide direction and guidance to our teenagers at this crucial stage in their lives.

Br. Qasim will introduce a program that has been put together by ICNA. This program provides an opportunity to young Muslims in our community to get together,
play games, have fun and get educated during this process. This method has been tested and found very successful in many cities of North America.  Below are the details of the event.

Topic: The Company We Keep

Speaker: Br. Qasim Mazher

Date: 5:00 PM, January 8th, 2010

Location: Islamic Society of Greater Harrisburg (ISGH)
407, N. Front St, Harrisburg, PA

If you are a parent of a teenager, you cannot afford to miss this opportunity.

Program is absolutely free. Dinner will be served for the attendees.

All of the youths and parents are encouraged to participate in this program.

Prophet SAW said that acquisition of knowledge is a must for every Muslim boy and girl. Another Hadith says, “The best of you is one who gives a good education (intellectual and moral) to his children”.

Jazakallah Khair

    Assalamu Alaikum Brothers.

I have a Catholic friend who is going to come tomorrow 1/7/11 for the Juma prayer and observe how we pray. I hope the sisters will welcome her and make her feel comfortable as it is her first experience to be in a mosque.
